Drenda Butler Landers is a PhD candidate in systematic theology and theological ethics at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where she team-teaches Foundations of Theology. She is currently working on her dissertation, which explores moral dilemmas and emotional responses to them as an opportunity for virtue formation. Her other research interests include the interdisciplinary connections between theology and trauma studies and the emerging psychological category of moral injury.
