Douglas Earl (PhD Durham, 2008) has written on the theological interpretation and use of biblical texts. He is the author of Reading Joshua as Christian Scripture (Eisenbrauns, 2010); The Joshua Delusion? Rethinking Genocide in the Bible (Cascade Books, 2010) and Reading Old Testament Narrative as Christian Scripture (forthcoming). Douglas is currently pursuing research in the philosophy of science at Leeds University.
