David Nacho is a theologian from Bolivia and an ordained minister in the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada convention and is pursuing doctoral studies at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies.
He is a member for the Latin American Theological Fellowship and a recipient of the prestigious Langham scholarships for doctoral candidates from the majority world.
David served as adjunct faculty at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and for almost 8 years, he served as Academic Dean of one of Latin America’s most iconic theological education institutions, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Theological Studies (CETI, for its acronym in Spanish), leading an ATS-accredited master’s programme in partnership with Carey Theological College. He teaches regularly on Narrative Theology on Hermeneutics and on Ecclesiology at CETI and at Carey.
He is now focused his work in on leading CETI Certificate, a church-based program whose aim is to inspire and lead believers to engage in contextual theological reflection. David trains facilitators in dialogical approaches to theological reflection in several Latin American countries and Portugal.
