Danube Johnson is currently a PhD candidate in Religion at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the relationship between theories of sovereignty and theories of subjectivity in early modern natural law. She is currently writing her dissertation, entitled “The Will to Contend’: Sovereignty, Subjectivity, and the Hobbesian State of War.”
