Daniel Orrells is Professor of Classics at King’s College London. His research explores the reception of antiquity in modern intellectual and cultural history. He is the author of Classical Culture and Modern Masculinity (2011, Oxford University Press) and Sex: Antiquity and Its Legacy (2015, Oxford University Press). His forthcoming book is Antiquity in Print in the Eighteenth Century.
