Collin Cornell (PhD in Hebrew Bible, Emory University) is a visiting assistant professor for the School of Theology at the University of the South (Sewanee). In addition to publishing numerous articles on biblical theology and history of religions, his monograph Divine Aggression in Psalms and Inscriptions: Vengeful Gods and Loyal Kings, is forthcoming this year in Cambridge University Press’s Society for Old Testament Study series, and a book he edited, Divine Doppelgängers: YHWH’s Ancient Look-Alikes, is available from Eisenbrauns/Penn State University Press. With Eleonora Hof, he is completing a translation of a work by the Dutch pastor, theologian, and antifascist, K.H. Miskotte: Biblical ABCs: The Basics of Christian Resistance, for Lexington Books/Fortress Academic.
