Colin Koopman is Professor of Philosophy and Director of New Media & Culture at the University of Oregon. His most recent book is How We Became Our Data. His writings have appeared in journals ranging from New Media & Society to Critical Inquiry to Journal of the History of Philosophy, as well as in public venues including The New York Times, Aeon, and Politics/Letters.
