Catherine Osborne

Catherine R. Osborne holds a Ph.D. in historical theology from Fordham University. She has taught at Franklin & Marshall College, the University of Notre Dame, and Loyola Marymount University. Her research on mid-twentieth-century Catholicism has appeared in Religion & American Culture and American Catholic Studies, among other venues. She is the author of American Catholics and the Church of Tomorrow: Building Churches for the Future, 1925-1975 (University of Chicago Press, 2018) and the co-editor of American Catholic History: A Documentary Reader (New York University Press, 2018). She currently lives in South Bend, Indiana.
