Camille Robcis is Associate Professor of Modern European History at Cornell University.  She is the author of The Law of Kinship: Anthropology, Psychoanalysis, and the Family in France (2013) and of several articles on French intellectual, legal, and political history.  She is currently working on a project that explores the legacy of social Catholicism in contemporary French law.
