Bruce Ellis Benson is Senior Research Fellow at the Logos Institute for Analytic and Exegetical Theology at the University of St Andrews. He is the author or editor of thirteen books, including The New Phenomenology: A Philosophical Introduction (2013, with Aaron Simmons), Liturgy as a Way of Life: Embodying the Arts in Christian Worship (2013), Pious Nietzsche: Decadence and Dionysian Faith (2008), and Graven Ideologies: Nietzsche, Derrida, and Marion on Modern Idolatry (2002). He is a founding member of the Society for Continental Philosophy and Theology and serves as its Executive Director. His current position is funded by the Templeton Religion Trust.
