Brent Nongbri is a specialist in the study of religion with a focus on ancient Christianity. He has taught at universities in the United States, Australia, and Denmark and is currently Professor of History of Religions at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion, and Society in Oslo. He is the author of Before Religion: A History of a Modern Concept (2013) and God’s Library: The Archaeology of the Earliest Christian Manuscripts (2018).
