Brandon R. Peterson is a Catholic theologian and Associate Professor (lecturer) in the Department of Philosophy at the University Utah, where he teaches topics in religious studies. He earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology at the University of Notre Dame (2015). He is the author of Being Salvation: Atonement and Soteriology in the Theology of Karl Rahner (Fortress, 2017). His writings on christology, soteriology, and the Second Vatican Council have appeared in Theological Studies, Modern Theology, International Journal of Systematic Theology, and America, among others.
