Bharat Ranganathan
Bharat Ranganathan is the Beamer-Schneider Fellow in Ethics in the Department of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University. Bharat works at the intersection of religious ethics and moral and political philosophy. He is working on two projects: first, along with Jason Heron (Mount Marty University), he is co-authoring a book, Catholic Social Teaching, Liberalism, and Justice and, second, he is completing a monograph, On Helping One’s Neighbor: Religious Ethics, Obligations to Others, and Severe Poverty. With Derek Woodard-Lehman (Pittsburgh Theological Seminary), Bharat co-edited and contributed to the volume, Scripture, Tradition, and Reason in Christian Ethics: Normative Dimensions (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019).
