Anahid Nersessian is Professor of English at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her most recent books are The Calamity Form: On Poetry and Social Life (Chicago, 2020) and Keats’s Odes: A Lover’s Discourse (Chicago, 2021). Other writing has appeared in Critical Inquiry, PMLA, The New York Review of Books, The Paris Review, n+1, and elsewhere. With Nan Z. Da, she founded and co-edits the Thinking Literature series at the University of Chicago Press.
