Alexandra Plakias is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Hamilton College. She received her Ph.D from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in May 2011. Her research focuses on metaethics and moral psychology, and she is also interested in the relationship between empirical research and philosophical theory. She is working on a book about the philosophy of food.
