Alejandra Bronfman
Alejandra Bronfman is Associate Professor in the Department of Latin American, Caribbean and US Latino Studies at SUNY Albany. She is the author of Isles of Noise: Sonic Media in the Caribbean (UNC Press, 2016), On the Move: The Caribbean Since 1989 (Zed Press, 2007), and Measures of Equality: Social Science, Race and Citizenship in Cuba, 1902-1940 (UNC Press, 2004). Her current research interests involve sound, media and environment in war and empire. She hosts the New Books in Caribbean Studies podcast.
