Victoria Rimell is Professor of Latin at the University of Warwick, UK, and a member of the Academia Europaea. She has written widely on Roman literature and thought, most recently The Closure of Space in Roman Poetics. Empire’s Inward Turn (Cambridge University Press, 2015) and A Commentary on Ovid, Remedia Amoris (Oxford University Press, 2023).
