Paul J. Schutz is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Santa Clara University, where he specializes in Religion and Ecology. His 2017 dissertation on the writings of Jesuit astronomer William Stoeger grounds his proposal of an ‘eco-political’ theology of creation rooted in engagement with contemporary science.
