Michael D Snediker is the author of Queer Optimism: Lyric Personhood & Other Felicitous Persuasions (U.Minnesota Press, 2009) and Contingent Figure; Chronic Pain and Queer Embodiment (U.Minnesota Press, Jan 2021). His articles have appeared in venues including ELH, J19, Qui Parle, and Modernism/Modernity. Snediker is also a published poet; his most recent book of poems, The New York Editions, was published in 2017 by Fordham University Press.
