Marianne Burkhard OSB received her Ph.D. in German and French Literature from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 1965 and her Licentiate in Canon Law from the Ecclesiastical University of Ottawa, Canada in 1993. She has written two books on the Swiss author C.F. Meyer and has provided an English translation of four books on the Rule of Benedict by Aquinata Böckmann.
