Laurel Schneider is Professor of Religious Studies and Women’s & Gender Studies at Vanderbilt University.  She is author ofRe-Imagining the Divine  and Beyond Monotheism as well as numerous articles and book chapters dealing with gender, sexuality, religion, and race.
