Kirsty Borthwick is in the final year of a PhD at the University of Cambridge, working on the role of the Trinity in prayer, with a particular focus on the writings of Augustine of Hippo. Her research interests include spirituality, the nature of theological method, constructive use of the theological tradition to address contemporary questions, and the role of theology in the ecumenical movement. Kirsty is also training for ordination in the Church of England.
