Katja Ekman is a Doctoral Candidate in Systematic Theology at Lund University and an ordained minister in the Church of Sweden. She combines her interests in political and contextual theology with works within the fields of critical memory- and trauma studies. Her dissertation project focuses on theological approaches to traumatic collective memories and aims at a mutual theoretical enrichment between trauma- and memory studies and theology.
