Katherine G. Schmidt, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Molloy College in Long Island, New York. She received her B.A. in theology from Mount St. Mary’s University (Emmitsburg) in 2007, her M.A. in theological studies from the University of Dayton in 2010, and her Ph.D. in theology from the University of Dayton in 2016. Her research interests include American Catholicism, and religion and culture. Specifically, Katherine’s work focuses on the intersection of religion and technology/media.
