Judith Gruber received her PhD in Systematic Theology from the Universtity of Salzburg, Austria, in 2012. She joined the KU Leuven in 2017 as a Research Professor. She is a member of the Research Unit Systematic Theology and the Study of Religions, Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies. In her research, J. Gruber brings Catholic theology into conversation with critical cultural theories. Her current project develops the concept of ‘dissent’ as an epistemological and ecclesiological principle.
