Joseph Longarino received his PhD in New Testament from Duke University in 2019. His dissertation, Pauline Theology and the Problem of Death, will soon appear in WUNT. He has a forthcoming article in New Testament Studies on Paul, apocalyptic, and the passions, and a forthcoming chapter on the humanity of Christ in Paul in the T&T Clark Handbook of Christology. He is also the translator of several German works on the New Testament. Since 2018 he has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Heidelberg.
