Jim S. Josefson is Professor of Political Science in the Department of History and Political Science at Bridgewater College in Virginia. He holds a B.S. from Carroll College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Syracuse University. His teaching fields include American politics, public law, and political theory, with research specializations in Hannah Arendt and contemporary political thought. Josefson is the author of Hannah Arendt’s Aesthetic Politics: Freedom and the Beautiful and has published on topics at the intersection of political theory and aesthetics.
