Gregory Mitchell is the author of Tourist Attractions: Performing Race & Masculinity in Brazil’s Sexual Economy and Panics without Borders: How Global Sporting Events Drive Myths about Sex Trafficking as well as articles in GLQ, SAQ, American Ethnologist and others. He has received the Bellagio Fellowship, ACLS Fellowship at Princeton, an NSF grant, and several awards from the American Anthropological Association.  He also works on LGBT asylum cases. He holds an endowed chair in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Williams College.
