Gesine Manuwald is Professor of Latin in the Department of Greek and Latin at University College London (UCL). Her research interests cover the works of Cicero and Roman oratory more widely, early Roman drama, Roman epic and the reception of classical literature, especially in Neo-Latin texts. She has published widely on all these areas, including an introductory book on Cicero and commentaries on several of his speeches.
