Douglas Hedley is professor of the philosophy of religion at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Clare College. He studied philosophy and theology at the universities of Oxford and Munich. He has published a trilogy on the religious imagination and has worked to rehabilitate the Cambridge Platonists. He is currently writing a monograph on the theme of ‘play’.
