Avweroswo Akpojaro Junior is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge. He received his Master of Divinity from the Theological College of Northern Nigeria. He earned a Master of Theology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, where he was a recipient of the Kirby Laing Foundation scholarship. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Avweroswo’s research interests are in the fields of systematic theology, historical theology, and the philosophy of religion. His doctoral research at Cambridge focuses on the pneumatology of Friedrich Schleiermacher and its significance for Protestant theology. Avweroswo is currently a recipient of the prestigious Gates Cambridge scholarship at the University of Cambridge.
