Kendall Cox

Kendall Cox is a Teaching Fellow in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia, where she completed her PhD in “Theology, Ethics, and Culture.” Her dissertation, Prodigal Christ: the Parable of the Prodigal Son in the Theologies of Julian of Norwich and Karl Barth, develops the phenomenological dimensions of Paul Ricoeur’s theory of intertextuality in order to show the coherence of Julian and Barth’s otherwise unprecedented readings of Luke 15:11-32. Kendall also has a BA in Religion and Studio Art from Wake Forest University and an MDiv from Regent College, University of British Columbia.
